From the reviews
Exactly what I was looking for on my vacation. Main house has colonial vibe but rooms have retro classic motel take. The view and sound of ocean waves in the morning while enjoying a cup of coffee can't be beat. So peaceful - a great way to turn down the stress.
My brother and I spent three nights at this hotel and were very happy with our stay. Jen at the front is friendly and chatty (though this could have been helped by my saying I used to work in hospitality). Next time I stay, I’d do a bit of extra homework to make sure I was in the main house.
We had a fabulous few days at the shore house. Gabby was great! She helped us out whenever we had any questions. And you can’t beat the views! We will definitely be back again and again!
Getting married at The Shore House
Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see the ceremony spot at the exact time of day you'd say your vows — a west-facing beach glows at sunset but bakes at noon, and you'll want to feel the wind, watch where the sun sits, and walk the path your guests take across the sand. Second, bring your real questions: the weather backup (where does the ceremony move if it rains or the wind kicks up?), who pulls the beach permit, the sound-ordinance curfew, the catering and bar policy, and exactly what's included — chairs, setup, and teardown on sand are where quotes quietly diverge. Peak beach dates book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
