Our wedding was held at The Berkley in September, and we could not have been more pleased with our experience! We rented the Berkley Manor and the Berkley Suites, and both spaces were perfect for our needs. We hosted lots of friends and family throughout the week, and the spaces had everything we needed.
I had my wedding and ceremony at the Manor in mid-May. It was absolutely perfect! I met with Phoebe and David (OcracokeStyle) a year prior and they took the time to meet with my mom, sister-in-law and me to go over all that they have to offer.
The Berkley Manor is a beautiful location in the heart of Ocracoke! They offer everything you'd need for the perfect wedding on the island! Phoebe was so helpful and responsive and would often check-in and ask how planning was going!

Getting married at The Berkley Manor
Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see the ceremony spot at the exact time of day you'd say your vows — a west-facing beach glows at sunset but bakes at noon, and you'll want to feel the wind, watch where the sun sits, and walk the path your guests take across the sand. Second, bring your real questions: the weather backup (where does the ceremony move if it rains or the wind kicks up?), who pulls the beach permit, the sound-ordinance curfew, the catering and bar policy, and exactly what's included — chairs, setup, and teardown on sand are where quotes quietly diverge. Peak beach dates book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
