From the reviews
Wow! We have visited the Birchwood hotel one time before, but booked the king balcony suite for our wedding weekend—we were blown away not only by the luxurious and spacious room at this darling boutique hotel, but also by the exceptional service (and kindness!) the staff showed to us throughout our stay.
My wife and I stayed at the hotel a couple of weeks ago and really loved the location and the staff. we had drinks and appetizers at the bar downstairs and Summer was very nice and accommodating. Her happiness was contagious. We enjoyed our stay there and the look forward to the next stay. Dale
I attended for a birthday celebration. While I had anticipated a slightly more upscale atmosphere, the views were nonetheless stunning. Our server provided exceptional service. Now that I have a better understanding of what to expect, I plan to return and explore further.
View was great, mango margs top notch. Vibes would have been better if the restaurant’s “top chef” wasn’t yelling at his girlfriend and getting in her face in front of a rooftop of people.
Getting married at The Birchwood
Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see the ceremony spot at the exact time of day you'd say your vows — a west-facing beach glows at sunset but bakes at noon, and you'll want to feel the wind, watch where the sun sits, and walk the path your guests take across the sand. Second, bring your real questions: the weather backup (where does the ceremony move if it rains or the wind kicks up?), who pulls the beach permit, the sound-ordinance curfew, the catering and bar policy, and exactly what's included — chairs, setup, and teardown on sand are where quotes quietly diverge. Peak beach dates book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
