From the reviews
An unforgettable honeymoon experience! We spent two nights at The Chandler at Cliff in Newport this past October for our honeymoon, and it was absolutely magical. From the moment we arrived, the service was warm, personal, and attentive — they truly made us feel special.
We stayed here for our 5th wedding anniversary and it exceeded expectations. The ocean-facing room was beautifully decorated and incredibly quiet. Waking up and walking straight onto the Cliff Walk with coffee in hand felt surreal.
My husband and I first started coming here when a friend gifted us an 8-course dinner experience for our wedding. Now we love to stop by during the summer for dinner and drinks if we are visiting Newport. Service is always great and everyone is so kind. Food never disappoints.
Getting married at The Chanler at Cliff Walk
Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see the ceremony spot at the exact time of day you'd say your vows — a west-facing beach glows at sunset but bakes at noon, and you'll want to feel the wind, watch where the sun sits, and walk the path your guests take across the sand. Second, bring your real questions: the weather backup (where does the ceremony move if it rains or the wind kicks up?), who pulls the beach permit, the sound-ordinance curfew, the catering and bar policy, and exactly what's included — chairs, setup, and teardown on sand are where quotes quietly diverge. Peak beach dates book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
