This is a really charming boutique hotel and easily stands out from others in the area. The location is excellent—step outside and you’re right on Worth Avenue, with great shopping and plenty of dining options nearby. Their cafe on the side has amazing smoothies.
The Colony Hotel just wasn’t really my scene. The crowd felt like a lot of women trying wayyyy too hard, which gave the place a slightly trashy vibe for me. That said, it was absolutely packed, so clearly it’s popular and a lot of people enjoy the energy.
It was an absolutely delightful pink paradise! We loved our suite, the pool, and the decor of the hotel. They have truly thought of every detail to make your stay easy and excellent. It was a perfect spot for a girls trip! The Colony has the best service of almost any hotel I’ve stayed in worldwide.

Getting married at The Colony Hotel
Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see the ceremony spot at the exact time of day you'd say your vows — a west-facing beach glows at sunset but bakes at noon, and you'll want to feel the wind, watch where the sun sits, and walk the path your guests take across the sand. Second, bring your real questions: the weather backup (where does the ceremony move if it rains or the wind kicks up?), who pulls the beach permit, the sound-ordinance curfew, the catering and bar policy, and exactly what's included — chairs, setup, and teardown on sand are where quotes quietly diverge. Peak beach dates book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
