We hosted our wedding at the Harpswell Inn in late May with about 80 guests, and I can’t imagine a more perfect venue. As part of the venue agreement, you book the whole inn for the weekend.
The Harpswell Inn is pure magic. From the moment we saw this place, we knew we had found the place, and it truly turned out to be the most perfect day imaginable. The property is stunning in every direction; every detail feels intentional, timeless, and infused with love.
I would give a million stars if possible! We got married at The Harpswell Inn in early June and could not be happier with our choice. Having our families and wedding parties stay together for the whole weekend on their stunning property was a dream come true.
We had our wedding at the Harpswell Inn, and everything was perfect. We and our family stayed at the Inn during the wedding weekend, as well. Kelsey and the entire Harpswell Inn staff were extremely accommodating and helped us through the whole wedding planning process.
Getting married at The Harpswell Inn
Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see the ceremony spot at the exact time of day you'd say your vows — a west-facing beach glows at sunset but bakes at noon, and you'll want to feel the wind, watch where the sun sits, and walk the path your guests take across the sand. Second, bring your real questions: the weather backup (where does the ceremony move if it rains or the wind kicks up?), who pulls the beach permit, the sound-ordinance curfew, the catering and bar policy, and exactly what's included — chairs, setup, and teardown on sand are where quotes quietly diverge. Peak beach dates book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
