When our daughter (and now son-in-law) announced their engagement in Camden, Maine, a year ago in May, we had hoped they would pick Live Well Farm as their wedding venue.
Live Well Farm was the perfect place for our summer Maine wedding! We are so glad that we chose to have our wedding at Live Well Farm. The ceremony garden is so lovely, with a lush pine backdrop and beautiful flower plantings.
My husband and I got married at Live Well Farm August 3rd and it was the best place to get married. The grounds were perfectly groomed. The farm house was absolutely stunning. Very welcoming and tidy. I love that it had two AC units to keep all of our NC friends (who are used to built in AC) cool.
Live Well Farm is the perfect Maine wedding venue. Patty and her team do an incredible job. They work so hard to make sure your wedding day will go smoothly. There is a farm house on site that accommodates 11. We rented the house and venue from Thursday- Sunday.
Getting married at Live Well Farm
Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see the ceremony spot at the exact time of day you'd say your vows — a west-facing beach glows at sunset but bakes at noon, and you'll want to feel the wind, watch where the sun sits, and walk the path your guests take across the sand. Second, bring your real questions: the weather backup (where does the ceremony move if it rains or the wind kicks up?), who pulls the beach permit, the sound-ordinance curfew, the catering and bar policy, and exactly what's included — chairs, setup, and teardown on sand are where quotes quietly diverge. Peak beach dates book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
