We had our wedding at the Alfred I. duPont Building and could not be happier with the experience! The team was incredibly helpful and easy to work with throughout the entire planning process : responsive, flexible, and supportive.
Gorgeous building. Very up-scale high end event space. Definitely the place to have for an event. Has high ceilings. Eye catching interior designs. Very clean place and accommodating staff. Definitely check this place out!
I recently photographed a wedding at the DuPont Building in downtown Miami, and it’s one of the most photogenic venues I’ve worked in. The natural light inside the building is outstanding—clean, soft, and consistent throughout the day, which makes a big difference when capturing both portraits and candid moments.
I have gone to several events at this venue including weddings, galas and immersion experiences, and each time the venue surpasses expectations. Service is always great and the design and layout of each event is unique! It is a historic site that can capture anyone’s dream event vision!
Getting married at The Historic Alfred I. duPont Building
Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see the ceremony spot at the exact time of day you'd say your vows — a west-facing beach glows at sunset but bakes at noon, and you'll want to feel the wind, watch where the sun sits, and walk the path your guests take across the sand. Second, bring your real questions: the weather backup (where does the ceremony move if it rains or the wind kicks up?), who pulls the beach permit, the sound-ordinance curfew, the catering and bar policy, and exactly what's included — chairs, setup, and teardown on sand are where quotes quietly diverge. Peak beach dates book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
