My wife and I recently celebrated our anniversary at The Cavalier Hotel, and our experience was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment we arrived, the staff demonstrated the highest level of professionalism and hospitality.
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ The Cavalier Hotel is one of the most beautiful and historic places I’ve ever stayed. The property is absolutely stunning, with elegant décor, amazing ocean views, and a rich history that makes the experience unique. The staff was friendly, professional, and made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived.
Huntroom fantail shrimp is the bomb! Service in all dinning is impeccable. We always look forward to seeing Robert , the doorman, who always wel comes us and makes us feel like Cavalier family.
Dropped in to dine at Becca for our anniversary. Robert the doorman was the highlight! He was personable and immediately offered to take photos of us (which were great). Even chatted with us on the way out to see how we enjoyed our meal and to wish my husband well on his deployment.

First, see the ceremony spot at the exact time of day you'd say your vows — a west-facing beach glows at sunset but bakes at noon, and you'll want to feel the wind, watch where the sun sits, and walk the path your guests take across the sand. Second, bring your real questions: the weather backup (where does the ceremony move if it rains or the wind kicks up?), who pulls the beach permit, the sound-ordinance curfew, the catering and bar policy, and exactly what's included — chairs, setup, and teardown on sand are where quotes quietly diverge. Peak beach dates book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
