I really enjoyed my stay at this hotel. It was very clean, felt safe, and the staff were attentive and helpful throughout my visit. The rooms were spacious and comfortable, and the ocean view was absolutely beautiful.
Great location. The hotel has been upgraded some since our last stay here. Bathrooms are remodeled, and new carpeting in the halls and rooms. The bathroom could have more places to hang towels and clothing. They have installed sliding "barn doors" in the bathroom/closet area. This offers no privacy in the bathroom.
The rooms were great with an ocean view. I had a view of multiple fireworks displays for the 4th of July. Location was amazing just north of the boardwalk. With great beach access. On site restaurant was good and convenient.
Getting married at Wyndham Virginia Beach Oceanfront
Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see the ceremony spot at the exact time of day you'd say your vows — a west-facing beach glows at sunset but bakes at noon, and you'll want to feel the wind, watch where the sun sits, and walk the path your guests take across the sand. Second, bring your real questions: the weather backup (where does the ceremony move if it rains or the wind kicks up?), who pulls the beach permit, the sound-ordinance curfew, the catering and bar policy, and exactly what's included — chairs, setup, and teardown on sand are where quotes quietly diverge. Peak beach dates book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
