Beautiful location well situated to access northern and southern parts of Redwood NP. The staff is helpful and informative prior to your visit to make arrival and stay a trouble free experience. And the setting is just gorgeous views where the Klamath River joins the Pacific.

This was a perfect find. The rooms are beautiful, clean and well equiped with everything you might need. We had river view rooms that added a special detail. The location of this hotel is great. It is located about midway between what we were wanting to do on the north and south areas of the parks.

We loved returning to the Requa Inn with relatives years after we had stayed as a young family to find that it hasn't changed in its charm and character. It was wonderful watching views of the Klamath river and the mouth of the Klamath Overlook. We hope to return some day soon.

Best biscuits and gravy hands down! Bacon gravy was incredibly flavorful without being too salty. The biscuits, o my Lord, the biscuits are honestly the star of the plate. Atmosphere is historic cozy with beautiful views of the Klamath River.

Getting married at The Historic Requa Inn

Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see the ceremony spot at the exact time of day you'd say your vows — a west-facing beach glows at sunset but bakes at noon, and you'll want to feel the wind, watch where the sun sits, and walk the path your guests take across the sand. Second, bring your real questions: the weather backup (where does the ceremony move if it rains or the wind kicks up?), who pulls the beach permit, the sound-ordinance curfew, the catering and bar policy, and exactly what's included — chairs, setup, and teardown on sand are where quotes quietly diverge. Peak beach dates book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
