We came in the off season so it was quieter than usual. The staff were so friendly and helpful, especially the barista in the cafe attached to the hotel. The views were amazing, the amenities are fantastic, and our stay was perfect. Couldn't have asked for a better hotel.
We had an outstanding stay at this hotel! From the moment we arrived, the service was top-notch—every staff member we encountered was friendly, welcoming, and genuinely helpful. The accommodations were excellent, with clean, comfortable rooms and an incredible view that made our stay even more enjoyable.
Thie Inn at Harbor Shores is a fabulous venue. The rooms are great and are very nicely furnished too. The food at the Plank is excellent, and the view of the lake is magnificent especially on a clear night.
Nice place in convenient location to downtown and beaches. would give yourself extra time as there is a drawbridge. Very friendly staff Would book in advance to avoid high season cost.
Getting married at The Inn At Harbor Shores
Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see the ceremony spot at the exact time of day you'd say your vows — a west-facing beach glows at sunset but bakes at noon, and you'll want to feel the wind, watch where the sun sits, and walk the path your guests take across the sand. Second, bring your real questions: the weather backup (where does the ceremony move if it rains or the wind kicks up?), who pulls the beach permit, the sound-ordinance curfew, the catering and bar policy, and exactly what's included — chairs, setup, and teardown on sand are where quotes quietly diverge. Peak beach dates book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
