From the reviews
I cannot say enough about this venue. Not only is the venue so unique and absolutely stunning, but the staff really make the experience special. They go above and beyond to make couples feel valued and heard. They were so incredibly accommodating and generous throughout the process.
This is the Absolute BEST Wedding or event venue around! My daughter's wedding was held at the Maola on May 4th, and we had a Wonderful Experience!! Dylan and his family are Top Notch owners/hosts and do everything in their power to help you have an outstanding experience!
Maola was absolutely perfect for our wedding day! I could not be more pleased with the venue. I have had so many guests tell me how wonderful and beautiful the venue was. Dylan was beyond helpful during set-up, the event, and tear-down. He truly made sure everything was taken care of so that there would be no stress.
If I could give this venue 10 stars out of 5, I would- the Maola is absolutely phenomenal!! I can’t express how wonderful the Hawkins family was to work with while planning our wedding- they truly went above and beyond for us in every way possible. A venue like this is a rare find in today’s wedding industry.
Getting married at The Maola at Riverside
Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see the ceremony spot at the exact time of day you'd say your vows — a west-facing beach glows at sunset but bakes at noon, and you'll want to feel the wind, watch where the sun sits, and walk the path your guests take across the sand. Second, bring your real questions: the weather backup (where does the ceremony move if it rains or the wind kicks up?), who pulls the beach permit, the sound-ordinance curfew, the catering and bar policy, and exactly what's included — chairs, setup, and teardown on sand are where quotes quietly diverge. Peak beach dates book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
