From the reviews

We had a wonderful stay at The Milo in Santa Barbara. The location is absolutely fantastic, close to everything you want to enjoy, and it really made the trip easy and memorable. We especially loved our rooftop patio, which was such a great spot to relax and take in the Santa Barbara atmosphere.

Stopped for a night at the Milo on our road trip down the PCH. The location is terrific, right on the ocean, and the service was friendly and helpful with food recommendations. The rooms were renovated and nice.

★★★★☆ — Bethany, Mar 2026

Clean rooms, nice pools and a hot tub, bike and beach chairs available first come, first serve. Suggest getting a second floor room as we could hear footsteps from above in our first floor room. It’s good for the price. In the middle of everything so advantages and disadvantages to that.

The new renovations of the rooms are absolutely stunning. The ocean view king was impeccable and very spacious. The bed was super comfy too! The staff were all very welcoming and made our stay that much more enjoyable. Perfect location across the street from the beach! Will 100% stay here again!

Getting married at The Milo

Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see the ceremony spot at the exact time of day you'd say your vows — a west-facing beach glows at sunset but bakes at noon, and you'll want to feel the wind, watch where the sun sits, and walk the path your guests take across the sand. Second, bring your real questions: the weather backup (where does the ceremony move if it rains or the wind kicks up?), who pulls the beach permit, the sound-ordinance curfew, the catering and bar policy, and exactly what's included — chairs, setup, and teardown on sand are where quotes quietly diverge. Peak beach dates book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
