To Daniel and the entire crew, Thank you for another memorable and extraordinary stay at the Ocean Lodge. My wife and I are blown away at this little paradise located in Cannon Beach. Your entire team is so genuinely friendly and goes the extra mile to make us feel like we’re at home.
The Lodge is beautiful with a rustic beachy feel. The rooms have fireplaces and cable TV including the ability to access your favorite streaming services. All of the employees are very welcoming and go out of their way to make the stay memorable.
Thank you to Juanita! I booked a room for my parents who were on a road trip celebrating their official retirement and my mom's birthday. Juanita took super great care of my parents which meant a lot to me including having a special surprise for them in their room when they checked in. My parents had a great time!
Worth it! My husband and I stayed here in January of 2025 and I'm still thinking about it months later!! This hotel was a little pricier than we typically would splurge for, but we really wanted something memorable. From the amazing views, to the big clean rooms, to the cozy fireplace- all of it was spectacular!
Getting married at The Ocean Lodge
Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see the ceremony spot at the exact time of day you'd say your vows — a west-facing beach glows at sunset but bakes at noon, and you'll want to feel the wind, watch where the sun sits, and walk the path your guests take across the sand. Second, bring your real questions: the weather backup (where does the ceremony move if it rains or the wind kicks up?), who pulls the beach permit, the sound-ordinance curfew, the catering and bar policy, and exactly what's included — chairs, setup, and teardown on sand are where quotes quietly diverge. Peak beach dates book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
