I love the Polynesian! I stay there anytime I go to Ocean Shores. With a stocked kitchen to cook in , a full living area, balcony (deer tooth feed off said balcony!!) And 2 beds, it is big enough for my family . Trails to the beach are conveniently located just out back of hotel.
Solid three star hotel, clean, well sorted, very family and dog friendly (with a large dog relief area). The Indoor pool and hot tub were clean and properly chlorinated. The staff we talked to were friendly and helpful. Lots of parking.
Amazing place with cheaper than normal rates. Some rooms don't have great internet but I found one with 5/5 bars. Hot water is about 15 minutes long but it fills quickly again. Other than that it's clean, nice, and a lovely view.
Clean rooms at a great price. Great location. And best of all it is dog friendly!
Getting married at The Polynesian Resort
Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see the ceremony spot at the exact time of day you'd say your vows — a west-facing beach glows at sunset but bakes at noon, and you'll want to feel the wind, watch where the sun sits, and walk the path your guests take across the sand. Second, bring your real questions: the weather backup (where does the ceremony move if it rains or the wind kicks up?), who pulls the beach permit, the sound-ordinance curfew, the catering and bar policy, and exactly what's included — chairs, setup, and teardown on sand are where quotes quietly diverge. Peak beach dates book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
