The owners of the Sapp House allowed our local Seniors to use the house to and take their pictures for Prom. It was such a kind gesture since it was a forecasted rainy day and had ruined our plans for outside photos. The house was beautifully restored.
The Sapp House was the perfect venue for a wedding reception! The managers were so easy to work with and everything was very nice.
The Sapp House is the PERFECT venue for a celebration of any kind. It’s truly something special. I’ve thrown 2 events here within the last year. A baby shower inside and a birthday party that we used both the inside and outside. The outdoor area has string lights and a large paver porch as well as a huge lawn area.
I have held 2 events at the Sapp House. My daughter’s wedding celebration was a beautiful event in a beautiful historic home. This made her garden party dreams come true. The house was the perfect backdrop! We held our class reunion here as well. It was a totally different event and still the perfect space.
Getting married at The Sapp House
Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see the ceremony spot at the exact time of day you'd say your vows — a west-facing beach glows at sunset but bakes at noon, and you'll want to feel the wind, watch where the sun sits, and walk the path your guests take across the sand. Second, bring your real questions: the weather backup (where does the ceremony move if it rains or the wind kicks up?), who pulls the beach permit, the sound-ordinance curfew, the catering and bar policy, and exactly what's included — chairs, setup, and teardown on sand are where quotes quietly diverge. Peak beach dates book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
