The cottages are lovely! My four friends and I stayed at the Grey Lady cottage and it satisfied all our needs; it had the perfect amount of space for sleeping, a nice kitchen and living room area, and every part was super cozy. Plus, the decor is absolutely adorable on the inside and outside.

Had a wonderful visit over Memorial Day Weekend. The cottage was very cute and very comfortable. Totally old school 'Sconset. The staff is fantastic. Food in the restaurant is delicious and the bar (along with iconic piano player) is probably my favorite in the world.
I have just returned home from a fantastic trip and stay at the Summerhouse in Nantucket.. The cottages were cozy and welcoming. Waking up to the ocean each morning was such a special treat. The staff and service were excellent and the cuisine was perfect. The gardens are serene , relaxing, and beautiful.
Getting married at The Summer House Cottages
Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see the ceremony spot at the exact time of day you'd say your vows — a west-facing beach glows at sunset but bakes at noon, and you'll want to feel the wind, watch where the sun sits, and walk the path your guests take across the sand. Second, bring your real questions: the weather backup (where does the ceremony move if it rains or the wind kicks up?), who pulls the beach permit, the sound-ordinance curfew, the catering and bar policy, and exactly what's included — chairs, setup, and teardown on sand are where quotes quietly diverge. Peak beach dates book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
