Room was much more spacious than we expected, we traveled with our toddler and appreciated the kitchenette and full blackout curtains. One window opens which was nice to hear the ocean at night.
My family and I had a great time at this hotel. The staff was very nice and helpful. We had an issue with our air conditioner and staff fixed it immediately (Thanks Doc!). The partial view room is huge. Kitchenette and having a small eating table is great.
I took my friend from high school visiting from overseas. We had a fabulous reunion time in this hotel. It is spacious, clean, next to the beach and full kitchen with fridge and all plates/cups/glasses, pot and pans are equipped. Nice dining table also beside window too.
The Surf Club staff are very professional and courteous and are always available to answer questions and provide assistance. The rooms are always clean and if anything is needed, the folks there are quick to provide or make changes for you. The view is spectacular from the majority of the rooms.
Getting married at The Surf Club Oceanfront Hotel
Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see the ceremony spot at the exact time of day you'd say your vows — a west-facing beach glows at sunset but bakes at noon, and you'll want to feel the wind, watch where the sun sits, and walk the path your guests take across the sand. Second, bring your real questions: the weather backup (where does the ceremony move if it rains or the wind kicks up?), who pulls the beach permit, the sound-ordinance curfew, the catering and bar policy, and exactly what's included — chairs, setup, and teardown on sand are where quotes quietly diverge. Peak beach dates book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
