We had our wedding at lighthouse on 7/15/2023. It was absolutely the most perfect day!!! The venue is GORGEOUS and so much space for only the wedding— a ballroom, a prefunction (picture giant open room with all windows on two walls, and the entire deck.
Amazing wedding venue. Attended a wedding there yesterday. The venue was beautiful. Staff was so friendly and helpful. The food was delicious. One of the best steaks I have ever had. Had a mashed potato bar which was amazing. Chris the bartender was super. Remembered names and drinks. DJ was great.
Brides this is the place to have your wedding!! Look no further! Seriously there is no better place in the Rehoboth/Dewey Beach area. Trust me I looked at them all! From the amazing outdoor ceremony space to the gorgeous ballroom and pre-function room, this venue is stunning.
I just got married here this past weekend! The staff here knocked it out of the park! From meeting Kate during the tour, to the tasting with our coordinator Chelsea, to the day of everything was absolutely perfect! The location can’t be beat, everyone was very friendly and accommodating, the food was to die for!
Getting married at Lighthouse Cove Event Center
Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see the ceremony spot at the exact time of day you'd say your vows — a west-facing beach glows at sunset but bakes at noon, and you'll want to feel the wind, watch where the sun sits, and walk the path your guests take across the sand. Second, bring your real questions: the weather backup (where does the ceremony move if it rains or the wind kicks up?), who pulls the beach permit, the sound-ordinance curfew, the catering and bar policy, and exactly what's included — chairs, setup, and teardown on sand are where quotes quietly diverge. Peak beach dates book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
