On the property
“The reception and our lodging was far apart but I didn't mind that.”
“For example, I recall when we were trying to get food/drinks ordered at the busy Ocean Bar, and a kind male server/bartender spotted us and ran over to take our order.”
What couples highlight
“We used the shuttle service to and from the Mansion and while there was a delay after the wedding, the time for the shuttle to come was not bad at all.”
From the reviews
Stayed two nights here for a wonderful wedding at The Mansion. We had a one bedroom with another couple so we slept on the sleeper sofa. Overall it was a very good experience with one exception which I will speak to shortly. The rooms was pleasantly large.
We had a beutifull time, stayed in arbour town village. I read some concerning reviews, but i could find the reason for the bad information, maybe the room has a little smell because it has carpet.
Absolutely amazing. The reception and our lodging was far apart but I didn't mind that. The arbor village was great.we had to change rooms and we fit a upgraded to the britterige village which had a Lakeview. The mansion itself was so beautiful. The pools were so awesome highlight of the trip.
I stayed here for one night in the office season. The Mansion is beautiful and warm. My rooms were in a different location and it was a really nice apartment. For one night it was a hassle due to location (it's a HUGE property so it took awhile to find it), & 3 flights of steps.
Getting married at The Villages at Ocean Edge
Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see the ceremony spot at the exact time of day you'd say your vows — a west-facing beach glows at sunset but bakes at noon, and you'll want to feel the wind, watch where the sun sits, and walk the path your guests take across the sand. Second, bring your real questions: the weather backup (where does the ceremony move if it rains or the wind kicks up?), who pulls the beach permit, the sound-ordinance curfew, the catering and bar policy, and exactly what's included — chairs, setup, and teardown on sand are where quotes quietly diverge. Peak beach dates book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
