This is for the Villas and not the individual AirBNB in which we stayed. The grounds are very well kept. Pool is clean and the grills by the pool are clean and covered and powered by natural gas so you never have to worry about it running out. the fitness center is nice with a variety of equipment to keep you busy.
The location is very convenient—within easy walking distance to the beach, pool, and the Hawaii hot dog store. The place is very clean, and all the equipment works perfectly. The rooms are spacious and well maintained, making it ideal for a large family. I would definitely love to come back again!
We had a wonderful time at the Villas at Poipu Kai and recommend it to any family or friends visiting Kauai in the future. We stayed in the luxury penthouse which was 4 bed, 3.5 bath. The villa was spacious, well stocked, and very comfortable for our party of 4 adults and 3 kids.
Wow!! This is a fantastic place. We were so blown away when we arrived at the condo because it was even better than the pictures. This place has everything you need including all the gear for a day at the beach with a wagon to transport it. The information book was very helpful and thorough.
Getting married at The Villas at Poipu Kai
Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see the ceremony spot at the exact time of day you'd say your vows — a west-facing beach glows at sunset but bakes at noon, and you'll want to feel the wind, watch where the sun sits, and walk the path your guests take across the sand. Second, bring your real questions: the weather backup (where does the ceremony move if it rains or the wind kicks up?), who pulls the beach permit, the sound-ordinance curfew, the catering and bar policy, and exactly what's included — chairs, setup, and teardown on sand are where quotes quietly diverge. Peak beach dates book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
