hotel is clean, upscale, smells really good. the staff are extremely nice and helpful. rooftop pool and bar- can’t go wrong there. poolside service was excellent. the shuttle service which takes you to nearby places and to the beach was fantastic. basically you just tell them you need the shuttle and it appears fast
Marcia was absolutely fantastic. We had a few minor issues during our stay and she took care of them quickly and in the nicest possible manner. The rooftop has incredible views and the pool has great music. The location can’t be beat. You can walk downtown easily and also to the water. Would recommend!
Room was bright and clean. Bed was wonderfully comfortable. The rooftop pool and bar were great! The view was wonderful to watch sunsets! Had a nice lobby bar, also. They offer a shuttle to get you around to shops and restaurants.
Getting married at The Westin Sarasota
Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see the ceremony spot at the exact time of day you'd say your vows — a west-facing beach glows at sunset but bakes at noon, and you'll want to feel the wind, watch where the sun sits, and walk the path your guests take across the sand. Second, bring your real questions: the weather backup (where does the ceremony move if it rains or the wind kicks up?), who pulls the beach permit, the sound-ordinance curfew, the catering and bar policy, and exactly what's included — chairs, setup, and teardown on sand are where quotes quietly diverge. Peak beach dates book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
