Phenomenal experience! I cannot underscore enough how exquisite the hotel experience and staff were. My family stayed for a couple of days and I already miss our experience. We went to celebrate my parents renewing their wedding vows, and the staff brought up some complementary champagne, a note, and some chocolates.
I was here for an evening event and ended up staying for a few more days because I loved it! The service, the rooms, the location is all fantastic. It is very pricey but you definitely get what you pay for. Make sure to look for my review on youtube. Just search MrBucketlist Ritz Sarasota.
The Ritz in Sarasota delivers the expected five star Ritz experience- the staff is extraordinary, and the rooms are luxurious, clean and well appointed. The location just before the bridge to the beach should be noted but the shuttles are efficient and it is definitely worth the trip to the Beach Club 3 miles away.
My wife and I took our two young kids for a family vacation and were very pleased with this hotel. It met the Ritz Carlton standard in my mind! The staff was very friendly and helpful.
Getting married at The Ritz-Carlton, Sarasota
Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see the ceremony spot at the exact time of day you'd say your vows — a west-facing beach glows at sunset but bakes at noon, and you'll want to feel the wind, watch where the sun sits, and walk the path your guests take across the sand. Second, bring your real questions: the weather backup (where does the ceremony move if it rains or the wind kicks up?), who pulls the beach permit, the sound-ordinance curfew, the catering and bar policy, and exactly what's included — chairs, setup, and teardown on sand are where quotes quietly diverge. Peak beach dates book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
