From the reviews
Gorgeous, elegant, and timeless. The White House Hotel was the perfect setting for a special Thanksgiving dinner with my Mama. We didn’t stay at the hotel, but visited the grounds and the restaurant. Every detail felt thoughtful and upscale. Cora delivered a wonderful holiday experience.
Top 5 hotel in Mississippi. Great variety of rooms. And a very good rate. In-house and bar are for Cool people. Great location, near shopping and dining. New building in the back. Very very great with a balcony for every room. The WH is a magnificent location. Easy to park and locate. No parking fee. And very safe.
This was our 2nd stay here. Love historic hotels and the WH is just a beautiful property. And being right across the street from the beach, we got our beach-time as well. We work 10 weeks in Ocala, Fl, so on the way back to Tx, it's a great 1/2 spot to stop for the night. We'll be back.
We travel across America and this hotel is a favorite stopping spot. We love how they have maintained the history of this 1895 hotel. Location and views are amazing. Quality furnishings and special touches make this a jewel!
Getting married at The White House Hotel
Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see the ceremony spot at the exact time of day you'd say your vows — a west-facing beach glows at sunset but bakes at noon, and you'll want to feel the wind, watch where the sun sits, and walk the path your guests take across the sand. Second, bring your real questions: the weather backup (where does the ceremony move if it rains or the wind kicks up?), who pulls the beach permit, the sound-ordinance curfew, the catering and bar policy, and exactly what's included — chairs, setup, and teardown on sand are where quotes quietly diverge. Peak beach dates book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
