First and foremost, Tolovana Inn is wonderful. From the attentive and friendly staff, fresh coffee available in the lobby each morning, the stunning views and beach access, the salt water indoor pool and hot tub, a short walk to Fresh Foods grocery store, and the overall welcoming feel-I cannot say enough good about…
Rooms were quaint, tight, but perfect for a 1 night stay. Toilet is very small and it is a tight squeeze to fit in the bathroom for 2 adults. TV has plenty of channels. Bed was comfortable, fits 2 adults. Parking lot is very confusing but has ample space.
What a great place to relax and unwind! The shopping therapy is exceptional and the community of Cannon Beach so friendly! You can walk from Tolovana Inn down the beach (Approximately 2 miles to town or drive in 1.5 miles. ) The view of the beach is exceptions and the staff is friendly and helpful.
This place is great. Not only is the location unbeatable, the quiet and comfortable stay is top tier. Coming from the north east, we were a little skeptical of no AC in late June. We opened the windows, let the cool mountain/ocean air and found it entirely enjoyable. Would come back again.
Getting married at Tolovana Inn
Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see the ceremony spot at the exact time of day you'd say your vows — a west-facing beach glows at sunset but bakes at noon, and you'll want to feel the wind, watch where the sun sits, and walk the path your guests take across the sand. Second, bring your real questions: the weather backup (where does the ceremony move if it rains or the wind kicks up?), who pulls the beach permit, the sound-ordinance curfew, the catering and bar policy, and exactly what's included — chairs, setup, and teardown on sand are where quotes quietly diverge. Peak beach dates book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
