My partner and I got married at Venue 808 in August 2022 and absolutely loved the venue! It’s the perfect combination of industrial and modern but unique and unlike the typical warehouse spaces you might find elsewhere.
Choosing Venue 808 was truly one of those “when you know, you know” decisions for us. From the second we walked in, I feel like my husband I knew right away that this was our wedding venue. Starting off with the staff, the tour of the venue was so informative and they were all so attentive to our questions.
There aren't enough words or stars to say how highly we recommend this venue! My daughter's wedding here was a dream come true. The venue and staff exceeded every expectation. Katie Vieira, the venue coordinator, is a gem. It was such a pleasure working her!
My wife Deema and I got married here on 2/20/22. The venue was BEAUTIFUL. To rent the space was more than reasonable, the bartenders, waiters, and security were all so wonderful and professional. Highly recommend this amazing venue to anyone looking to get married in San Diego!
Getting married at Venue 808
Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see the ceremony spot at the exact time of day you'd say your vows — a west-facing beach glows at sunset but bakes at noon, and you'll want to feel the wind, watch where the sun sits, and walk the path your guests take across the sand. Second, bring your real questions: the weather backup (where does the ceremony move if it rains or the wind kicks up?), who pulls the beach permit, the sound-ordinance curfew, the catering and bar policy, and exactly what's included — chairs, setup, and teardown on sand are where quotes quietly diverge. Peak beach dates book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
