We have an after party from our sons wedding and they were wonderful. Pretty space inside and out on the patio.
I love this venue! It was a great space for the Edenton Cotillion's combo event- an afternoon tea followed by an etiquette dinner. The venue is beautiful, but the people are what make it extra special. Denise and Leslie are wonderful to work with.
My second event and the owner is always pleasant. The place is neat and clean. Located in a great spot in downtown Edenton, NC. Great for private engagements. Will return hopefully again real soon.
We held my son's rehearsal dinner at the Venue this past weekend. The Venue is in a perfect location on the waterfront, close to everything and the space itself is beautiful. Denise and her manager, Leslie were fabulous!
Getting married at Venue On Water Street
Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see the ceremony spot at the exact time of day you'd say your vows — a west-facing beach glows at sunset but bakes at noon, and you'll want to feel the wind, watch where the sun sits, and walk the path your guests take across the sand. Second, bring your real questions: the weather backup (where does the ceremony move if it rains or the wind kicks up?), who pulls the beach permit, the sound-ordinance curfew, the catering and bar policy, and exactly what's included — chairs, setup, and teardown on sand are where quotes quietly diverge. Peak beach dates book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
