We recently had our wedding at VIEW! I literally can't say enough good things about it... would give 11 stars if I could. After getting engaged, I was a bit skeptical about having a whole big wedding and never imagined it would be such an incredible experience.
My wedding was 9/13/25 at the view in Oakdale and we truly could not be happier with our experience!! It was exactly what we pictured our wedding to be like - so much fun, great food and drinks, amazing service, gorgeous views, and only great vibes all day.
We recently had a wedding reception of 140 people on a Saturday from 12-5. The ceremony was held outside prior to the reception. Every part of the day was 5 stars in every aspect. The food was absolutely delicious. The service was outstanding from start to finish. Every worker brought their A game.
Thank you to the view and hold their staff for hosting an absolutely beautiful wedding day for my husband and I food was amazing. The service was impeccable and the view was absolutely stunning. We could not have asked for a better venue to share our special day together.
Getting married at View
Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see the ceremony spot at the exact time of day you'd say your vows — a west-facing beach glows at sunset but bakes at noon, and you'll want to feel the wind, watch where the sun sits, and walk the path your guests take across the sand. Second, bring your real questions: the weather backup (where does the ceremony move if it rains or the wind kicks up?), who pulls the beach permit, the sound-ordinance curfew, the catering and bar policy, and exactly what's included — chairs, setup, and teardown on sand are where quotes quietly diverge. Peak beach dates book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
