This was our second visit and just as nice or more so than the first. There were new wooden floors and everything just felt very homey and comfortable. Also loving the beach feeling of the condo. Can’t wait to go again next year hopefully near the same time.
The Seascape Lodge is great, and the Villa del Mare was a great experience. The condo was clean, well stocked, and the owner takes pride in providing a great experience. There was a welcome basket and everything we needed was at our finger tips. The location is awesome, on the quiet side near the green space.
We had a lovely stay at Villa Del Mare. The place was spacious and clean with the cutest beach decor throughout.. we had everything we needed but was pleased to find anything we may have forgotten. The host Diane was amazing and a breeze to book with. We will most definitely book again when coming to the area.
We’ve stayed at Villa del Mare at Seascape twice and can highly recommend Diane’s condo for your visit. Hopefully you’ve seen her video tour and can tell she prepares extensively for your stay.
Getting married at Villa del Mare at Seascape Beach Resort, Aptos/Santa Cruz, California
Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see the ceremony spot at the exact time of day you'd say your vows — a west-facing beach glows at sunset but bakes at noon, and you'll want to feel the wind, watch where the sun sits, and walk the path your guests take across the sand. Second, bring your real questions: the weather backup (where does the ceremony move if it rains or the wind kicks up?), who pulls the beach permit, the sound-ordinance curfew, the catering and bar policy, and exactly what's included — chairs, setup, and teardown on sand are where quotes quietly diverge. Peak beach dates book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
