Absolutely love this new place- the wine is great! Overheard one of the other patrons describe Vineyard View wines as one of the best in the finger lakes, and we agree! The view is amazing and it’s so relaxing!! We will definitely be back!
The new Vineyard View Winery did not disappoint, with the quality wine and incredibly friendly owners/staff we’ve come to expect from the original Keuka location. This location boasts an incredible backdrop of Seneca Lake and thoughtfully landscaped grounds filled with beds of wildflowers.
I stopped in for a tasting while on my wine trail. This is a newer tasting room that recently opened. Theres another location by lake Cayuga. I liked how there is no set wines for a tasting, you just pick as many as you want at $2.50 each.
We had a great time here with Joe. Ask Joe anything he probably knows the answer. From what to do in the region to what wine you can match with anything. The View in the name says it all. What a view. Great wine with a great view. We also visited sweet farm next door, a great combo trip.
Getting married at Vineyard View Winery on Seneca Lake
Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see the ceremony spot at the exact time of day you'd say your vows — a west-facing beach glows at sunset but bakes at noon, and you'll want to feel the wind, watch where the sun sits, and walk the path your guests take across the sand. Second, bring your real questions: the weather backup (where does the ceremony move if it rains or the wind kicks up?), who pulls the beach permit, the sound-ordinance curfew, the catering and bar policy, and exactly what's included — chairs, setup, and teardown on sand are where quotes quietly diverge. Peak beach dates book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
