From the reviews
Our wedding was supposed to be at the Wainwright House in 2020, but was postponed to 2021 due to the pandemic. It happened that the Wainwright House was transitioning caterers and the new caterer for 2021 was Leslie (and Bartleby and Sage).
Some 13 years ago my wife and I got married at the Wainwright. Back then it was just starting out so we took a chance that it would all be perfect. And it was. The history and setting made it all feel like a fairytale. The food was amazing.
Restored mansion set on a relaxing, bucolic property. Live music schedule and other offerings.
I LOVE this venue!!! As a wedding photographer, it has everything-some of the most beautiful backdrops for photography. You will love this unique venue, I could spend weeks here photographing and still have something new to photograph. My clients were thrilled with everything about their day.
Getting married at Wainwright House, Inc.
Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see the ceremony spot at the exact time of day you'd say your vows — a west-facing beach glows at sunset but bakes at noon, and you'll want to feel the wind, watch where the sun sits, and walk the path your guests take across the sand. Second, bring your real questions: the weather backup (where does the ceremony move if it rains or the wind kicks up?), who pulls the beach permit, the sound-ordinance curfew, the catering and bar policy, and exactly what's included — chairs, setup, and teardown on sand are where quotes quietly diverge. Peak beach dates book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
