I can't describe how great our experience was. My daughter got married here and had her reception here. Our planner (Kate) was incredible! She was there for us every step of the way! The venue is absolutely breathtaking, the view is beautiful. The food was beyond delicious.
I don’t even know where to start! Our experience with the Waterview Loft was exceptional. From the time we booked our daughters wedding to the end the team at Waterview was great . If you want to impress your guests this is definitely the place to have your event .
Beautiful location. Attended a wedding reception here. Beautiful view, event venue very clean and welcoming. Outdoor patio along the Riverfront with Canada across the Detroit River. Excellent views of the Renaissance center.
Beautiful spot!!! Good food. Amazing view. Overlooking the water this place is gorgeous and just a quick walk to anywhere downtown. It’s right by the river boat as well. Beautiful little spot, perfect place to host any event!!!!
Getting married at Waterview Loft
Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see the ceremony spot at the exact time of day you'd say your vows — a west-facing beach glows at sunset but bakes at noon, and you'll want to feel the wind, watch where the sun sits, and walk the path your guests take across the sand. Second, bring your real questions: the weather backup (where does the ceremony move if it rains or the wind kicks up?), who pulls the beach permit, the sound-ordinance curfew, the catering and bar policy, and exactly what's included — chairs, setup, and teardown on sand are where quotes quietly diverge. Peak beach dates book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
