My wife and I got married here in September and it was perfect. The venue worked with us to meet all of our needs and the evening exceeded expectations. Would highly recommend for anyone looking for a wedding venue with flexibility to make the event their own!
MUST VISIT! This is the most beautiful hidden gem venue along the Monterey Bay and Cannery Row. The intention, architecture and location are second to none for locals and tourists alike.
I had a wonderful experience working with Rhett and Judy from Wave Street on planning my Dad's Celebration of Life event for a Sunday afternoon. I'm not local, so all planning was done over the phone and when the event day came, all the plans came to life perfectly.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Wave Street Studios is a true hidden gem in downtown Monterey near Cannery Row. It’s an incredibly versatile venue—perfect for corporate events, private parties, bachelor celebrations, weddings, and more.
Getting married at Wave Street Studios
Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see the ceremony spot at the exact time of day you'd say your vows — a west-facing beach glows at sunset but bakes at noon, and you'll want to feel the wind, watch where the sun sits, and walk the path your guests take across the sand. Second, bring your real questions: the weather backup (where does the ceremony move if it rains or the wind kicks up?), who pulls the beach permit, the sound-ordinance curfew, the catering and bar policy, and exactly what's included — chairs, setup, and teardown on sand are where quotes quietly diverge. Peak beach dates book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
