My favorite Michigan beach, short walk to the dog beach section. Great place for swimming, sun bathing, rock hounding, dog walks/swims (though before they do patrol to check for leashes). Pavilion has snacks, bathrooms and often live music.

We just love Weko Beach we have been going every year since our first trip 3 years ago, we now go every yr at least twice, we tent camped when we had a group larger than 5, have also rented the cabins, the extra $5 ngt for the ceiling fan is well worth it so $55-60 ngt is a great deal especially when you are right on…
Was here during the Canadian wildfires early June 2025. Night one the drama added by the smoke was unparalleled in creating an otherworldly sunset . Smoky for sure, a lot eye burn/sting but a dystopian phenomena(!) beautiful . Night 2 we went back to the same spot.
Getting married at Weko Beach
