****Updated (6/18/2025)**** Our oldest daughter had her wedding reception at the White Shanty. We provided the decorations. Courtney was awesome in helping the day be special for our daughter. It all turned out beautiful. Our daughter was thrilled!
I had my wedding here last month and everything went perfectly! We rented the loft which was super nice to have throughout the day. The all day rental is 10-10 but I did pay for an extra hour so we could get there at 9am, if was definitely worth the money to have extra getting ready time.
I helped decorate for a friend's wedding the morning of the event. We had my daughters wedding at The White Shanty Venue! It was so beautiful and breathtaking! My daughter or I could have not been more pleased with the wedding. We needed help with the planning and decorating, The White Shanty has a wedding planner we absolutely loved! Christin Meyer, she was amazing!
Getting married at White Shanty Venue
Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see the ceremony spot at the exact time of day you'd say your vows — a west-facing beach glows at sunset but bakes at noon, and you'll want to feel the wind, watch where the sun sits, and walk the path your guests take across the sand. Second, bring your real questions: the weather backup (where does the ceremony move if it rains or the wind kicks up?), who pulls the beach permit, the sound-ordinance curfew, the catering and bar policy, and exactly what's included — chairs, setup, and teardown on sand are where quotes quietly diverge. Peak beach dates book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
