From the reviews
My stepdaughters wedding was just amazing. It wasnt so much the venue as all the love and good times.
This building is a nice place to have a small wedding, reception or meeting. The AC unit cools the building quickly but is rather loud. And the building does not have the greatest acoustics. The bathrooms are adequate for the size building and the number of people that would be utilizing it.
Such an incredible venue. We rented it for a wedding reception, it was absolutely amazing. You could not find a more fitting location for a small to medium size group. Renting is easy and cleanup was a breeze. They make it easy for you, check it out if you're looking for a location for your event.
We visited The Boathouse a few weeks ago and found it to be a really interesting place not only where it is located and the docks and beautiful sunsets but to read the history and visit the surrounding areas where you can see where there was once a post office and General Store.
Getting married at Wilbur Boathouse
Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see the ceremony spot at the exact time of day you'd say your vows — a west-facing beach glows at sunset but bakes at noon, and you'll want to feel the wind, watch where the sun sits, and walk the path your guests take across the sand. Second, bring your real questions: the weather backup (where does the ceremony move if it rains or the wind kicks up?), who pulls the beach permit, the sound-ordinance curfew, the catering and bar policy, and exactly what's included — chairs, setup, and teardown on sand are where quotes quietly diverge. Peak beach dates book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
