From the reviews
From the very beginning, our experience with The William Aiken House and the entire PPHG team was nothing short of amazing. Not only is the venue itself absolutely stunning (it truly speaks for itself), but the people behind it make it even more special.
The William Aiken House is an absolute DREAM. The space is so versatile and allows you to have the ceremony of your choice, whether it's an outdoor garden setting or a more traditional backdrop with the carriage house - it truly has it all!!
Now this post may come off as a bit biased as I recently had my wedding here but hear me out. The William Aiken house is absolutely stunning, there is no other way to describe it other than maybe magical.
My cousin had her wedding here on May 3rd. It was gorgeous also her dress was. The whole thing was insanely beautiful, I recommend this venue. Bad thing is you have to park somewhere else. Me and my mom had to walk 3 miles to get there but it was worth it though.
Getting married at William Aiken House
Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see the ceremony spot at the exact time of day you'd say your vows — a west-facing beach glows at sunset but bakes at noon, and you'll want to feel the wind, watch where the sun sits, and walk the path your guests take across the sand. Second, bring your real questions: the weather backup (where does the ceremony move if it rains or the wind kicks up?), who pulls the beach permit, the sound-ordinance curfew, the catering and bar policy, and exactly what's included — chairs, setup, and teardown on sand are where quotes quietly diverge. Peak beach dates book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
