From the reviews
My wife and I held our wedding reception at the Winyah Indigo Society Hall in April of 2018. From the very beginning of our planning process, the onsite representative was extremely helpful and communicative. The Winyah Society Hall allowed us many freedoms when it came to decorating and planning for our event.
Attended a wedding and reception there. Beautiful venue. The only downside is that it's only street parking
Very nice atmosphere! Attended a wedding here, it is an ideal location for such an occasion.
I love this venue! Pictures just don’t do it justice. It is both majestic and charming at the same time, steeped in history and tradition. It’s a bonus, as a planner who does design and décor, to work with an already beautiful space.
Getting married at Winyah Indigo Society Hall
Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see the ceremony spot at the exact time of day you'd say your vows — a west-facing beach glows at sunset but bakes at noon, and you'll want to feel the wind, watch where the sun sits, and walk the path your guests take across the sand. Second, bring your real questions: the weather backup (where does the ceremony move if it rains or the wind kicks up?), who pulls the beach permit, the sound-ordinance curfew, the catering and bar policy, and exactly what's included — chairs, setup, and teardown on sand are where quotes quietly diverge. Peak beach dates book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
