From the reviews
Nicely located on waterfront at Birch Bay. Great location for walking along waterfront as there is a well maintained path/trail right at the property allowing easily for walk of 2-3 miles.
Second time we stayed, family has a Founder’s membership in the time share - doesn’t stop them trying to book the marketing presentation - but not too pushy, respectful of why we are visiting. Great location - beside the beach strip, bay views, beside several restaurants and bar, pool and hot tub are outdoors.
Worldmark Birch Bay was exceptional in every way. The rooms have just been renovated and are beautiful, functional, and comfortable with all the things you need to feel right at home. The staff went above and beyond for us , as we were dealing with some extenuating circumstances that brought us to Birch Bay.
We like to grab bonus time here. Super chill vacation town. Hot tubs and pool are nice. Easy trip across the border to White Rock, Granville Island, and Vancouver. We also enjoy Bellingham… great restaurants. Birch Bay State Park is great for kids and families. Food trucks at Beach Cat Brewing are fun.
Getting married at Worldmark Birch Bay
Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see the ceremony spot at the exact time of day you'd say your vows — a west-facing beach glows at sunset but bakes at noon, and you'll want to feel the wind, watch where the sun sits, and walk the path your guests take across the sand. Second, bring your real questions: the weather backup (where does the ceremony move if it rains or the wind kicks up?), who pulls the beach permit, the sound-ordinance curfew, the catering and bar policy, and exactly what's included — chairs, setup, and teardown on sand are where quotes quietly diverge. Peak beach dates book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
