Very lovely property that is peaceful. We rented one of their apartments as we had our infant son with us and it was comfortable. The staff is very kind and helpful and the beach is just across the grass & a nice little road. I walked/jogged with my son in his stroller and it was very beautiful and peaceful.
Yachats Inn is my favorite place to stay overnight on the Oregon Coast. Affordable. Comfortable. Very friendly and responsive staff. Dog friendly rooms. All rooms have an ocean view. I've been coming here for years and am grateful for a family run affordable place to stay.
An awesome family-owned hotel, with it 100% unique design, and historical rooms. Built in the 1930s, you can't experience the coast any other way then the sights and smells and feel of these old historical rooms. Wi-Fi, lounge with kitchen, full kitchens in rooms Etc. one of the most amazing pools I've ever seen.
We booked several rooms for a wedding held here, over the weekend. I was in room 15, which had unbelievable views of the ocean. It even had a small deck with chairs! WiFi is spotty in this room, but I was aware of that when I booked it, as the staff told me before hand.
Getting married at Yachats Inn
Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see the ceremony spot at the exact time of day you'd say your vows — a west-facing beach glows at sunset but bakes at noon, and you'll want to feel the wind, watch where the sun sits, and walk the path your guests take across the sand. Second, bring your real questions: the weather backup (where does the ceremony move if it rains or the wind kicks up?), who pulls the beach permit, the sound-ordinance curfew, the catering and bar policy, and exactly what's included — chairs, setup, and teardown on sand are where quotes quietly diverge. Peak beach dates book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
