We got married here! It was absolutely perfect. The house was big enough to host the rehearsal dinner and several of our out of town guests. Big beautiful kitchen, bar downstairs, big concrete area on ground floor to set up tables and yard was big enough to put a tent with lights for more tables.
This is an excellent beach house for any event. We had our wedding reception here. Plenty of space. Queen size bunk beds for guests. Beautiful view and direct access to the beach. Mr. Rodney (owner) was a pleasure to deal with. Very nice and always available for questions or concerns.
This beach house is gorgeous... I think Crystal Beach is one of the best beaches around Galveston area a little bit out of the way but worth the trip. And this house was so great. Loved the hammock out front and the little touches nice balcony and little cool little deck with Beach views as well on the bottom floor.
This place is perfect. I Definitely recommend to anyone looking to stay by the water. Great place for family events. Lots of room. Cute and stylish. Good WiFi. Feels like this place has everything you need for a good time at the beach. Also has the best sunsets views.
Getting married at 1 Amazing View
Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see the ceremony spot at the exact time of day you'd say your vows — a west-facing beach glows at sunset but bakes at noon, and you'll want to feel the wind, watch where the sun sits, and walk the path your guests take across the sand. Second, bring your real questions: the weather backup (where does the ceremony move if it rains or the wind kicks up?), who pulls the beach permit, the sound-ordinance curfew, the catering and bar policy, and exactly what's included — chairs, setup, and teardown on sand are where quotes quietly diverge. Peak beach dates book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
