This lovely gift for the Atlantic Beach community is a little jewel. It allows for all sorts of community gathering and provides a much-needed meeting space as well as a place for the arts.
Very cute little community center next to one of my favorite parks. I was just there recently to see a friend’s photography exhibit. They do an artist’s reception during Art Walk every month. There’s also yoga and a weekly farmers market in the field next to the building.
We just used the Center for a family event and it was outstanding. Tim and Veronica were very helpful and showed us the lay out and how to use everything. Mayor Glasser and City Manager Corbin helped out and made sure it was an event to remember.
Adele Grage is a great local venue for small concerts and shows. In the summer, Atlantic Beach puts on an acoustic summer concert series in Bull Park. Food trucks and a playground add to the environment.
Getting married at Adele Grage Cultural Center
Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see the ceremony spot at the exact time of day you'd say your vows — a west-facing beach glows at sunset but bakes at noon, and you'll want to feel the wind, watch where the sun sits, and walk the path your guests take across the sand. Second, bring your real questions: the weather backup (where does the ceremony move if it rains or the wind kicks up?), who pulls the beach permit, the sound-ordinance curfew, the catering and bar policy, and exactly what's included — chairs, setup, and teardown on sand are where quotes quietly diverge. Peak beach dates book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
