We got married at Dune House and we were actually their first wedding, since the remodel and renaming. First off, the hotel staff is amazing. They make you feel very welcome and special. The staff went out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed.
My wife and I stayed at this resort for the 250th Birthday of America. What an amazing experience! The property has just been renovated with a completely new look and beach vibe. The views are spectacular, the restaurant is superb, the location is perfect with many retail shops, bars, boutiques easily walkable.
The staff was amazing for my special event hosted. A huge shoutout to Mrs Toni and her servers Chris, John, Gibbes, Juan for the most professional service and being amazing to me and my family. I absolutely recommend this place for any event!
Dune House was formerly One Ocean, where we got engaged, so it’s special to us. It’s located right on the beach, behind the protected dunes with sea oats. They recently remodeled the rooms and they are very nice! They have new lounge chairs and umbrellas by the pool.
Getting married at Dune House Hotel & Spa
Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see the ceremony spot at the exact time of day you'd say your vows — a west-facing beach glows at sunset but bakes at noon, and you'll want to feel the wind, watch where the sun sits, and walk the path your guests take across the sand. Second, bring your real questions: the weather backup (where does the ceremony move if it rains or the wind kicks up?), who pulls the beach permit, the sound-ordinance curfew, the catering and bar policy, and exactly what's included — chairs, setup, and teardown on sand are where quotes quietly diverge. Peak beach dates book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
