My wife and I stayed at One Ocean Resort with our daughter to celebrate our anniversary, and even though our visit was only one night, it truly felt like we had traveled far beyond Jacksonville.
This was our first year hosting our Annual Agent Awards at One Ocean Resort & Spa, and the banquet team truly shined. Despite a few early bumps and ongoing construction, the team went above and beyond to ensure everything ran smoothly.
My wife and I have stayed here several times over the last few years. We love the staff and the attention to detail that they have. From the minute we walk in, everything is taking care of and it's just a great place for a get away weekend. We usually rent their bikes when we stay and bike around Atlantic beach.
Despite ongoing renovations, the service has remained first class, and the location is perfect. Ana and Shannon went above and beyond make the visit very memorable. We have been here many times and look forward to returning after renovations in the spring.
Getting married at One Ocean Resort & Spa
Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see the ceremony spot at the exact time of day you'd say your vows — a west-facing beach glows at sunset but bakes at noon, and you'll want to feel the wind, watch where the sun sits, and walk the path your guests take across the sand. Second, bring your real questions: the weather backup (where does the ceremony move if it rains or the wind kicks up?), who pulls the beach permit, the sound-ordinance curfew, the catering and bar policy, and exactly what's included — chairs, setup, and teardown on sand are where quotes quietly diverge. Peak beach dates book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
