Really enjoyed our stay in Long Beach. The hotel had a stylish coastal feel - clean design, comfortable rooms and an amazing location right by the water. Waking up to the ocean view and being able to walk or drive straight onto the beach was a huge highlight.
We have had such a great time! The folks that work at the front counter were amazing. We were able to get in on a same night deal. Had an incredible dinner at the pickled fish where we watched Coast Guard training from a helicopter right out in front of the hotel, and caught sunset with live music They let us use…
We just stayed one night but it was a nice stay. My daughter said the shower expwrience was incredible. The beds were comfortable. Although we didn't have a balcony to sit on, the view of the ocean was nice.
Getting married at Adrift Hotel
Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see the ceremony spot at the exact time of day you'd say your vows — a west-facing beach glows at sunset but bakes at noon, and you'll want to feel the wind, watch where the sun sits, and walk the path your guests take across the sand. Second, bring your real questions: the weather backup (where does the ceremony move if it rains or the wind kicks up?), who pulls the beach permit, the sound-ordinance curfew, the catering and bar policy, and exactly what's included — chairs, setup, and teardown on sand are where quotes quietly diverge. Peak beach dates book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
