From the reviews
We were upsold on the Inn as a romantic alternative from sister property Adrift. It was fine, but didn't quite impress when considering the price difference. The loft appeared to have been a converted structure that was unique but had issues: doors that bumped into one another; dust and cobwebs in an otherwise vapid…
Inn at Discovery Coast is my favorite place to stay. The heated pool is actually heated unlike what is listed at other hotels. The sauna barrels have been updated and work incredibly well. And the location right on the beach is quite magical. I spent hours in the jacuzzi in the room.
We stayed a few nights. Staff was very hard working and friendly. The only hiccup was the room key stopped working 2 nights in, so had to get new ones, but otherwise, no other complaints. Location is great, their 1st floor rooms are pet friendly, and walkable to all the nearby areas.
I had a great time. The room felt rustic but nice. The view was amazing. The staff was friendly and welcoming from the start. The Pickled Fish restaurant had great food and drinks. The highlight was Adrift Distillers. Theo was helpful, friendly, and informative. This area is a hidden gem in southwest Washington.
Getting married at Inn At Discovery Coast
Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see the ceremony spot at the exact time of day you'd say your vows — a west-facing beach glows at sunset but bakes at noon, and you'll want to feel the wind, watch where the sun sits, and walk the path your guests take across the sand. Second, bring your real questions: the weather backup (where does the ceremony move if it rains or the wind kicks up?), who pulls the beach permit, the sound-ordinance curfew, the catering and bar policy, and exactly what's included — chairs, setup, and teardown on sand are where quotes quietly diverge. Peak beach dates book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
