We had our daughter's wedding at Alpine Resort and it was just wonderful! Many of our guests stayed on the property where we rented out all 29 cottages, which meant we had the whole place to ourselves - a sort of "wedding campus" (except for the restaurant which was open to the public).
Our wedding at the Alpine was a dream come true! Having both grown up in the area, it was important to us to have Door County be a part of our big day. There is no better spot for a lifelong memory and to take in Door County.
We recently had our wedding at Alpine and could not be more happy and grateful for the service, experience & care we were given while there. We loved having every cottage booked with our friends and family. It was the best summer camp experience! Every single member of this team went above & beyond for us.

Getting married at Alpine Resort and Cottages
Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see the ceremony spot at the exact time of day you'd say your vows — a west-facing beach glows at sunset but bakes at noon, and you'll want to feel the wind, watch where the sun sits, and walk the path your guests take across the sand. Second, bring your real questions: the weather backup (where does the ceremony move if it rains or the wind kicks up?), who pulls the beach permit, the sound-ordinance curfew, the catering and bar policy, and exactly what's included — chairs, setup, and teardown on sand are where quotes quietly diverge. Peak beach dates book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
