From the reviews
I had an absolutely wonderful stay at the Landmark Resort and could not be more grateful for the experience. One of my favorite features was the beautiful network of walking paths throughout the property. They made it easy to get outside, enjoy the scenery, and explore the grounds at a relaxed pace.
We stayed here for a week through our timeshare for a week in October. Downtown Egg Harbor is just a short drive from the condo. So easy access to restaurants, shops, etc. The condos themselves are in a lovely setting of shade trees and we had a unit that had water front views that were wonderful.
We like the location because it's off the beaten path. We didn't use any services so we can't rate that. We liked our suite very much. It was clean and comfortable.
While yes, it could probably use an update, the grounds are beautiful, the location is great, and rooms are nice and have everything you need. Some areas still carry the remnants of years past when smoking was allowed, so maybe new carpet? But other than that, everything was fine to great.
Getting married at Landmark Resort, Door County
Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see the ceremony spot at the exact time of day you'd say your vows — a west-facing beach glows at sunset but bakes at noon, and you'll want to feel the wind, watch where the sun sits, and walk the path your guests take across the sand. Second, bring your real questions: the weather backup (where does the ceremony move if it rains or the wind kicks up?), who pulls the beach permit, the sound-ordinance curfew, the catering and bar policy, and exactly what's included — chairs, setup, and teardown on sand are where quotes quietly diverge. Peak beach dates book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
