Great place, clean, and great views. Love the complimentary beach loungers and umbrellas (first come, first served). One note, the "coffee maker" is actually a Lavaza cappuccino/espresso maker. They have their own proprietary pods, so no way to make your own coffee.
Always a pleasure to stay at the Anna Matia Beach Resort (this is our 7th visit!), bit this trip was only made better by Josê. I have NEVER enjoyed such a helpful and personable hotel manager in all my travels.
After a mix up on room availability through no fault of resort but the secondary booking agent … the property manager Iikin, went above to make sure we ended up with a fantastic room at nearby property that exceeded our expectations. Both properties were beautiful, clean and had very friendly staff.
This resort was perfect, rooms are clean and great with kitchen area. Resort pool is beautiful and great for kids, then you can walk right out to the ocean which is pristine. Staff keep everything very clean and are responsive to all questions.
Getting married at Anna Maria Beach Resort
Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see the ceremony spot at the exact time of day you'd say your vows — a west-facing beach glows at sunset but bakes at noon, and you'll want to feel the wind, watch where the sun sits, and walk the path your guests take across the sand. Second, bring your real questions: the weather backup (where does the ceremony move if it rains or the wind kicks up?), who pulls the beach permit, the sound-ordinance curfew, the catering and bar policy, and exactly what's included — chairs, setup, and teardown on sand are where quotes quietly diverge. Peak beach dates book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
